Amanda is a family nurse practitioner from the University of Texas at Arlington. She has a Masters in nursing with specialization in education from University of Phoenix and a Bachelor’s in Nursing from Texas Tech University.

She has over 7 years’ experience in a retail walk in clinic in the states. She also has experience as a pediatric emergency room nurse, as well as medical/surgical and working a sexual assault nurse examiner for both adults and children.

She has come to Honduras several times to learn Spanish as well as help the communities and has been living in Honduras since October 2022 at a rural facility. She moved back to Siguatepeque in July 2023 and has been serving at Clínica Betania since then.
