Fernando Villatoro
Fernando began working as the medical doctor at Clínica Betania in January 2021. Becoming a doctor was his childhood dream, and he fell in love with health ministry as a teenager when he had the opportunity to do medical translation work and assist doctors with helping patients. After graduating high school, he spent two years doing full time volunteer work both at various clinics in Honduras and medical brigades. He then began eight years of study at the National Autonomous University of Honduras in San Pedro Sula. In his last years at the university, he spent a year working in a national hospital and a second year in a public center in the mountains of Comayagua. In December 2020, he graduated with a doctorate in medicine and surgery. He loves the heart behind the ministry at Clínica Betania, and he enjoys glorifying God by serving others and using his gifts to bless the community and minister to many brothers and sisters in Christ. He looks forward to beginning his residency program, where he plans to study internal medicine. Fernando lives with his family in Siguatepeque and enjoys being outdoors, singing, painting, drawing, and serving as a deacon at Iglesia Bautista Betania.
